PPE DONATION IN KOSOVO

Afterwards careful assessments, in collaboration with the LMT (Liaison Monitoring Team) and local health authorities, the Regional Command West CIMIC Cell identified the greatest health issues following the difficult months of lockdown and planned a series of donations of individual protective devices to increase the COVID-19 protection capabilities of local institutions.
In recent weeks, therefore, the Multinational CIMIC Group operators have donated medical and individual protection devices for a total of 1485 surgical protective masks FFP2 and FFP3, 50 protective visors, 7 infrared thermometers, 50 protective suits and shoe covers, 50 protective goggles, 4000 pairs of disposable gloves and 50 hand sanitizer dispensers for the hospital and the Family Health Center of the PEC/PEJE Municipality. The project aims to increase the COVID-19 protection capacity of healthcare professionals.
The ceremony was attended by the Head of the CIMIC Cell of RC-W, representing KFOR, the Director of Health of the Municipality, Dr. Salihu Myrvete, and the Director of the Hospital, Dr Zotri Naim Sahiti, who thanked KFOR for the help, highlighting the continued friendship and presence of the Italian military towards the institutions.
