HEALTH: ALWAYS ONE OF THE CIMIC FOCUS

MNCG specialists planned and concluded a series of health projects in support of the local population

Somalia, 2021.

In recent weeks, Multinational CIMIC Group operators, as part of the Italian contingent of EUTM-S (European Union Training Mission Somalia) have completed a renovation project of a clinic in the district of Hodan, in Mogadishu. The refurbished Health Center will allow medical and paramedical staff to operate more conveniently for the benefit of mothers and children in the district.

“This is just the beginning of a new year full of projects in favor of the population. The CIMIC cell has planned many activities for districts throughout Mogadishu”, said the MNCG operator, Lieutenant Colonel Matteo Mineo. "I would like to thank the people of Hodan for their support, safety and determination to build the clinic right here."

The refurbishment of the Hodan clinic is part of a broader program of projects that will be completed in 2021 to improve the equipment of hospitals and clinics. Local authorities in Hodan expressed their deep gratitude to the CIMIC cell for the support given in improving the local public health system.

This project was made possible thanks to in-depth studies and analyzes done by MNCG operators who highlighted areas of development to support the population in achieving the mission objectives. In this context, the operators have successfully implemented the projects planned for 2020, tripling the number of projects planned for 2021.
