MNCG SUSTAINS THE RUN4HOPE
CIMIC operators participated in the Run4Hope, a running event in support of cancer research
Motta di Livenza, May 26th, 2021.
Some Multinational CIMIC Group operators took part in the fifth stage of Run4Hope 2021, a running event in favour of AIRC, the Association for Cancer Research. This edition is the first structured in non-competitive regional relays, which began on 22 May and will end on Sunday 30 May.
Participants do not have chronometric or competitive comparisons but rather the goal of promoting and supporting AIRC researchers, committed to discovering new therapeutic forms to treat childhood cancers. The protagonist of the event is the non-profit organization “Run4Hope Italia”, based in Vicenza. The goal is to get people moving, from the north to the south of Italy. Every running step and every donation, small or large, will be essential to support the beneficiaries, in the name of sport and solidarity. The event is therefore intended to unite and reunite the Italian running world which is also severely limited by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The runners of the Multinational CIMIC Group, in today's stage from Treviso to Venice, took the baton from the ASDR4C sports association of Treviso and then passed it, after about 8 km, to the ASD PERCORRERE IL SILE association. The MNCG operators have therefore contributed to bringing a message of solidarity and hope by sharing the values of tenacity and responsibility. Donations are possible on the AIRC website and on the “Rete del Dono” portal.
