On May 28, 2021, at the Palazzo La Loggia, in Motta di Livenza, Colonel Mattia Zuzzi and Mr. Alessandro Righi, have signed the “Pact of Motta di Livenza for reading”. The agreement, which involves various institutions and associations in the area that recognize reading as a strategic resource in which to invest and a social value to be supported, is aimed at implementing coordinated and joint promotion policies at the local level.
The Municipality, in fact, after being awarded the title of "City that reads" by the Center for books and culture (independent institute of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism) in 2018-2019, has the objective of maintaining this qualification. The Multinational CIMIC Group immediately responded to the appeal of the municipality by providing its ideas, projects and means with the aim of supporting this project by promoting reading as a right for everyone and for every age group.
"The Multinational CIMIC Group thanks the Municipality for the invitation and shares the founding values of this pact. I believe that reading can bring people closer, stimulate the imagination and help those in difficulty. In this post-pandemic period we need commendable initiatives like this one ”. Colonel Zuzzi declared at the end of the event.
