LEBANON: CARE FOR PUBLIC SPACES
MNCG operators, as part of the UNIFIL staff, ended a project in order to implement the functionality of a school
Lebanon, November, 2021.
In recent weeks the CIMIC operators, deployed in Shama, southern Lebanon, have participated in the ceremony for the delivery of a housing module at the public school "Al Masaken" in Tyre. The ceremony represented the final act of a project planned and developed by the Multinational CIMIC Group (MNCG) operators to strengthen the safety of students. The housing module, in fact, is functional for controlling access to the structure and ensures better working conditions for school staff in carrying out the aforementioned checks. The local authorities and the Director of the Institute, Mrs. Zeynab Al-Atrash, participated in the ceremony. The Director warmly thanked the Italian Contingent and, in particular, the MNCG operators for their commitment, underlining how this type of support, always alive, is very important for the whole community. The school and the territory have always had a deep bond with the CIMIC cell, demonstrated by the constant support received over the years.
