DJIBUTI: HEALTH ASSISTANCE TO THE POPULATION

MNCG Operators coordinated a medcare activity in close coordination with local CARITAS

Djibuti, March, 2022.
The Italian Military Support Base (BMIS) staff, belonging to the CIMIC cell, continues to support the local population with the development of quick impact projects and with health activities in favor of the less well-off. The goal is to guarantee basic assistance to the indigent and unaccompanied minors in order to mitigate the potential degeneration of diseases and to treat those in need. The activity, which takes place cyclically in close coordination with the CARITAS of Djibouti, took place in recent weeks, and has assumed an increasingly significant value in a period marked by the Covid-19 pandemic.
