First CIMIC Coadjutor Course
From September 10th to 21st the first CIMIC Coadjutor Course took place at the "Mario Fiore" Barracks, headquarters of the Multinational CIMIC Group.
The course, which represents a novelty in the CIMIC training offer, aims to implement the training of Graduates operating in the civil-military cooperation sector.
The aim of the course was to increase the professional technical preparation of the visitors in order to allow their profitable employment, in support of CIMIC Operators, in carrying out CIMIC activities in the various operational contexts, where the staff of the Multinational CIMIC Group is employed.
The program included theoretical lessons on the main doctrinal notions of Civil-Military Cooperation and practical activities for the planning and conduct of CIMIC activities, also conducted with the use of role players at the "La Comina" Military Sports Center in Pordenone.
The activity was carried out by the CIMIC Battalion, and was carried out in favor of 19 graduates in the department, who have obtained the status of CIMIC Coadjutors.
The Multinational CIMIC Group, a unit of the multinational inter-force army, specialized in civil- military cooperation (CIMIC), counts among contributing nations, besides Italy, Greece, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia is the only CIMIC operative 'NATO internal can ensure assets in support of national contingents and NATO, as part of a comprehensive approach to the prevention and management of any crisis.
The operators of the Multinational CIMIC Group, are currently employed both in International Operations in Kosovo, Lebanon, Somalia, Djibouti, Afghanistan and the Mediterranean (Operation Sophia) and in National Operations for territorial supervision (Operation Safe Roads).
