Of particular note has been the havoc that the flooding has caused on the roads throughout the Mogadishu making some areas impassable. Issues raised during the meeting was the support for emergency services, the development of projects assisting vulnerable groups, with particular attention given to women. The provision of security was also discussed with focus on both current levels and those anticipated during the forthcoming federal elections.
